Thankfulness

As Thanksgiving approaches I, of course, get reminded to be thankful. I really want to everyday, really remember one certain thing that I am thankful for. I've been coaching/parenting whichever you want to call it, on thinking 'positive' thoughts and not complaining or whining. Say things that she's happy about and thankful for. Good advice, eh? Well, I'm going to try and do it myself!

So, because I've been SO bad about blogging lately, I'm going to try and post a short post everyday, now until Thanksgiving about something I am truly in my heart thankful for.

Play along - leave me a comment on every post and tell me something you are thankful for that day or just a response to mine.

Love to all - "positive happy thoughts"

Today I am thankful for the rain. Truly. Jaden asked me on the way to school this morning why it rains. I told him that it is to make the trees grow tall, the grass to grow, for us to have drinking water and to replenish the earth.

Here is a picture that came to mind of Skylar when she was 3. She got this idea ALL on her own and acted upon it ALL on her own. I found her like this.

  2. I remember when Skylar did that..how sweet.

I'm thankful for grandmothers and great-grandmothers. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have sitters for Wesley while Jason and I worked.
